The process of interconnecting a new generation facility or a large, new electric load to the grid can be time consuming and costly.  SCD Energy Solutions works with clients in all stages of the interconnection process and can:

• Provide an initial assessment of the likely costs, timeframe and operational implications
• Coordinate with our partner design and engineering firms to perform detailed power flow assessments
• Support participation in the utility interconnection process

We have worked with renewable and conventional generation developers, evaluated projects within and outside the California ISO grid, and coordinated the accelerated interconnection of new industrial loads to the grid.   Our regulatory expertise covers evolving interconnection rules, renewable integration policies, renewable transmission initiatives and related policies that could impact development decisions.
